Best Barber ("we", "us") is operated by [Company legal name], [business address]. It provides online booking and business tools to barbershops, hair salons and nail salons ("Shops") and lets their customers ("Clients") book appointments. Questions: hello@best-barber.com.
Who controls your data
For Shop accounts and our website, we are responsible for your data. When a Client books with a Shop, that Shop decides how it uses the booking and client details, and we process them on the Shop's behalf.
What we collect

Service providers we use
- Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in, database, push notifications)
- Klaviyo (booking confirmation and marketing emails/SMS you opt into)
- Resend (appointment reminder emails)
- Stripe (Shop subscription payments)
- GitHub (runs our scheduled reminder job)
We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Marketing
We send marketing only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe with the link in any email.
How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, notifications, private notes and photos; past bookings stay with the Shop without your name, for its records.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by emailing hello@best-barber.com.
- California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
- Turn off notifications and location in your browser or device settings at any time.
Children
The service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited by account role: Clients see their own bookings, staff see their own bookings and notes, Shop owners manage their Shop.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above. For significant changes, we'll notify account holders.
