Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("we", "us") for using Best Barber. By creating an account or booking, you agree to them.
1. The service
Best Barber gives barbershops, hair salons and nail salons ("Shops") a booking page, calendar, client records and reminders. Clients ("Clients") use it to book with Shops. Shops, not Best Barber, provide the services Clients book.
2. Accounts
Keep your login safe and your details accurate. You must be at least 16 to create an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
3. Shops: trial, plans and payment
- New Shops get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start.
- After the trial, a paid plan is needed to keep taking online bookings. Current plans and prices are shown on the Plan & billing page and on best-barber.com.
- Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the paid month. We don't refund partial months unless the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, access continues for 7 days, then the Shop becomes read-only: bookings and data stay available to view, but new online bookings pause. We don't delete Shop data for non-payment.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
4. Shops' responsibilities
Shops are responsible for their services, prices, cancellations and how they treat client information. Shops must have their Clients' permission to store their details, and must not use the service for unlawful or misleading purposes.
5. Clients' bookings
Booking requests are confirmed by the Shop. Changes, cancellations, late arrivals and no-shows are handled under each Shop's own policies.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no interfering with it, attempting to reach other people's data, scraping, spam, or uploading content you don't have rights to.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to host and display it only to run the service.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features; we'll give notice of changes that significantly reduce what a paid plan includes.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount the Shop paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
